Description

As a Registered Dietitian, it’s my personal mission to help you get more fiber in your diet. This creamy high fiber fruit smoothie is the easiest way to do so, with 12 grams of fiber from whole food sources including chia seeds, frozen mixed berries, and banana. It also has 19 grams of protein – the protein + fiber combo is so filling!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup mixed frozen berries (three berry blend)
  • 1 small ripe banana
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened soy milk
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

Instructions

  1. Add the ingredients to a personal blender, such as a Nutribullet, in the order listed.*
  2. Blend for 30 seconds to 1 minute, until completely smooth and creamy.
  3. Pour into a 12 oz glass and enjoy right away.

Notes

*If using a standard blender, such as a Vitamix, add the ingredients in the following order: soy milk, Greek yogurt, banana, frozen berries, chia seeds. As a rule of thumb, you always want to put your liquid and soft smoothie ingredients close to the blender blade.
