Description

Move aside, chalky protein shakes! This chocolate peanut butter protein shake is SUPER creamy, rich, and chocolatey. Made with NO protein powder, this recipe has 33 grams of protein from Greek yogurt, peanut butter, and soy milk. With nearly 10 grams of fiber and healthy fats, too, this protein smoothie is a smart choice as a high protein, high fiber meal replacement because it won’t leave you feeling hungry 30 minutes later.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsweetened plain soy milk
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt (any fat content)
  • 2 tbsp creamy peanut butter (preferably natural peanut butter)
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 frozen ripe banana

Instructions

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a blender, in the order listed.
  2. Blend on high for 30 seconds – 1 minute, or until the protein shake is completely blended, smooth, and creamy.
  3. Pour into a glass and enjoy!

Notes

To help the blender work efficiently, add the ingredients in the order listed (softest to hardest).

I’ve tested this recipe using both a high-powered Vitamix blender and a NutriBullet blender. Both blenders work fine, but using the NutriBullet might leave you with some small chunks of unblended frozen banana.
