Blanch spinach and basil
Boil a large pot of salted water and add spinach and basil for 30 seconds.
Transfer the spinach and basil to an ice bath to stop it from cooking.
Add blanched greens, garlic, parmesan cheese, olive oil, lemon juice, red pepper flakes and, salt to food processor.
Blend the sauce in the food processor until smooth and well combined.
cook your pasta in the same boiling water you used to blanch the greens.
Put pasta and sauce into large mixing bowl and toss it all up to coat all the noodles.
Portion out pasta into bowls. Top with freshly grated parmesan, if desired.
