Sweet and Smoky Baked Sweet Potato Fries (Vegan, Gluten Free)

These baked sweet potato fries are loaded with sweet and smoky flavor! Seasoned with cinnamon and smoked paprika, you will want to make them again and again. They are so simple to make, and everyone will love them.


  • 3 medium sweet potatoes, cut into long 1/4 inch fry shaped pieces
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Dipping sauce of choice – I love them just with ketchup!


  1. Preheat the oven to 425F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Toss the sweet potatoes in avocado oil, cinnamon, smoked paprika, and a generous shake of salt and pepper.
  3. Spread the fries out evenly on the pan, making sure not they are not overlapping. If you need to, use a second pan or cook 2 batches.
  4. Roast for 30-35 minutes, flipping once halfway through, until edges are browned and crispy.
  5. Sprinkle with an additional pinch of cinnamon, smoked paprika, and salt.
  6. Serve immediately, with dipping sauce of choice. 


  • Don’t crowd the baking sheet, as the sweet potatoes will steam instead of roast.
