Peanut Butter and Jelly Oatmeal

Make this peanut butter and jelly oatmeal for a delicious, healthy, and easy breakfast this morning. Made on the stovetop, it takes just 10 minutes to whip up. It’s loaded with classic PB&J flavor!

Instructions

  1. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a small saucepan on the stovetop.
  2. Add oats, reduce to a simmer, and stir.
  3. Cook the oats, stirring occasionally for about five minutes. Oats will thicken up significantly as you continue to stir them.
  4. Add the mashed ripe banana and cinnamon. Stir to combine, and remove the oats from heat.
  5. Portion into two bowls and top each bowl with 2 tbsp each peanut butter and jelly.

Notes

If making the homemade raspberry chia jam, you can prepare it simultaneously with the oatmeal. It should take just about 10 minutes to make the jam.
