The best gifts for the friend who spends all her spare time in the kitchen, loves a good cheese board, and throws the best dinner parties.
Gift guide number two is full of gifts for your favorite foodie! The one who always knows the hot new restaurants, tries new recipes weekly, and probably asked for a food processor for her birthday.
These products are perfect for making food, storing food, and entertaining. And of course, wine is included! There is something for every budget on this list.
Best Holiday Gifts for Foodies
Vitamix Blender: This will be the most expensive item across all 2019 gift guides, but I had to include it. My Vitamix is hands down my favorite kitchen appliance. I’ve made nut butters, sauces, pesto, soup, smoothies, oat flour, and more using this amazing blender. I’ve linked the one I have (which I was generously gifted), but there are more affordable models that work just as well. If you’re feeling generous and something like this is within your means, it would make your favorite foodie SO happy!
Ceramic Nesting Mixing Bowls: I would love to use these mixing bowls for baking and mixing big salads. They’re great for somebody with minimal kitchen storage because they will look beautiful displayed on the countertop.
The ultimate cheese board: For the friend who loves to entertain. There is space for cheeses, hidden cheese knives, and ceramic dishes for crackers, olives, or other nosh.
Sun Basket subscription: If your foodie friend is too busy right now to grocery shop, send them a Sun Basket subscription! They deliver fresh, mostly organic, pre-portioned ingredients for meals you personally select every week. They have several meal plans to choose from, including vegetarian, paleo, and diabetes friendly.
Monthly wine club: Because nothing goes with good food like good wine. Bright Cellars gives you personalized wine matches after you take a fun palate quiz!
Electric kettle: We use our electric kettle every day to make tea and French press coffee. Water heats up so quickly! This one would look super cute on the counter top.
Glass food storage containers: Upgrade your foodie friend’s stained old tupperware collection with these high quality glass containers. Glass doesn’t stain or retain food smells. Also, it makes leftovers just a little more appealing!
Gift card to neighborhood cheese shop: Your foodie friend will be like a kid in a candy store with this gift! I’ve linked my favorite cheese shop in Boston. If you haven’t been, check it out next time you are in the South End!
Chosen foods garlic avocado oil spray: I love this spray! It adds subtle, delicious flavor to any food. Plus, it smells amazing. Chosen Foods has several other flavors, including Italian Herb, Chipotle, and PUMPKIN SPICE!
Nespresso milk foamer: I use this awesome appliance every morning to make matcha lattes. It foams and heats up milk super quickly.
Beautiful wood cutting board: My parents have a similar cutting board at home, and it makes prep time so much easier! Using a high quality, big cutting board makes such a difference.
Rice Cooker: I went back and forth on whether to include this in the list, but I’m going for it! I was recently gifted this rice cooker, and I absolutely love it. This would be perfect for a vegetarian foodie friend who eats a lot of rice and grains. It cooks them to fluffy perfection, and it totally fool-proof.
