Description

Meet your new favorite healthy dessert recipe: chocolate & peanut butter Greek yogurt dessert cups! This high protein dessert recipe (or sweet snack option) is SO easy and quick to make. All you need are 5 simple ingredients and a few minutes of prep time to whip Greek yogurt and peanut butter together and drizzle on a melted chocolate shell.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups plain Greek yogurt, preferably full fat
  • 4 tbsp peanut butter
  • 4 tsp honey
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil (measured before melted)


Instructions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, peanut butter, and honey.
  2. Use a spoon to mix everything together until well combined and the yogurt has a fluffy, whipped texture.
  3. Equally portion out the Greek yogurt mixture into small jars or ramekins (4 ounce size is best).
  4. Add the chocolate chips and coconut oil to a small microwave-safe bowl.
  5. Microwave for 30 seconds – 1 minute until melted.
  6. Drizzle the melted chocolate on top of each yogurt cup.
  7. Put the cups in the freezer to allow the chocolate to harden into a shell, for about 15 minutes. Do not freeze for longer than 30 minutes.
  8. Use a spoon to crack into the hardened chocolate shell and break it into pieces, mixing it all together.

Notes

Store these desserts covered with a lid or plastic wrap in the refrigerator. Enjoy within one week.
