This 2020 holiday gift guide features thoughtful gifts. The list includes items from women- and BIPOC-owned and small businesses for everyone on your list!

I put together this year’s gift guide a bit more intentionally than I had in past years. Instead of choosing lots of items from big-box stores like Amazon, I’ve included gifts that everyone will love, but that also do good!
Many of the gifts on this holiday gift guide come from small businesses, women-owned businesses, and BIPOC-owned businesses. By purchasing gifts from these companies, you’re helping them stay afloat and grow during this global pandemic.
Some of these gifts I own myself, and some I am admiring from afar. I hope you find something special for the special people in your life (or yourself :))
Gifts for the foodie
Pineapple Collaborative The Olive Oil
Pineapple Collaborative is a community for women who love food. They began by hosting events that highlight women in food, and they launched their first products last fall! They sell high quality olive oil and apple cider vinegar, both made by women. They also have a fantastic blog series called The Pantry which I’m loving reading.
Wildgrain Box Subscription
Wildgrain delivers homemade loaves of sourdough bread, fresh pasta, and monthly rotating pastries right to your door. The products are all frozen, and you just pop them in the oven to bake. Everything is exceptional, made from high quality ingredients, and really tastes fresh from a high quality bakery. Plus, they are local to Boston 🙂
Use my discount code DAISYBEET for $10 off your first Wildgrain box, plus a free extra loaf of sourdough bread!
Ottolenghi Flavor Cookbook
This is my favorite cookbook of 2020, because it’s all about VEGETABLES! It’s filled with tons of flavorful, creative recipes, as well as some educational sections about the science behind cooking and flavor. I’ve got the eggplant parmesan meatballs flagged to make next.
Levain Bakery Signature Cookie Assortment
If you’ve had them, you know – they are the most decadent cookies in the world. They’re absolutely worth waiting in line for in NYC, but why not just order them straight to your door? My favorite flavor is the dark chocolate peanut butter chip.
Cozy WFH gifts
Girlfriend Collective High-Rise Pocket Legging in Thyme
These leggings are thick, compressive, and made from recycled materials. Each pair of these pocket leggings saves 25 water bottles from landfills! This pretty thyme color is a limited edition, and would look beautiful on any one of your friends.
Calvin Klein Modern Cotton Bralette
These bralettes are SO comfortable. Like, could sleep in them comfortable. I wear them several days a week – they layer well under T-shirts and sweatshirts. I have a black and a white one, and I think I need to stock up on a few more!
Outdoor Voices All Day Sweatpant in Navy
I have this exact pair of sweatpants and can’t even count how many times I’ve worn them. The fabric is buttery soft, and the cut is sleek so they feel a little more “dressed up” than regular sweatpants. The navy color is beautiful, a little different, but still a neutral that would be flattering on anybody.
L.L.Bean Wicked Good Moccasins
These babies keep your feet toasty warm with super fluffy and soft sheepskin. The rubber sole is sturdy and perfect for running out the door to grab the mail. They also last forever!
Gifts to accessorize for Zoom happy hours

Mejuri Croissant Dome Hoops
These pretty hoops are a little different than plain gold ones, and look beautiful on camera. They are simple enough for everyday wear, but will dress up your leggings and sweater look.
Pat McGrath FetishEyes Mascara
Coming from someone who used to buy strictly drugstore mascara – FetishEyes is AMAZING. It’s super dark and just a few coats gives you dramatic, long, and separated lashes. My quarantine makeup routine is pretty minimal, but this mascara is totally essential.

Catbird Sweet Nothing Earrings
The perfect minimalist jewelry, these earrings from Catbird are wonderful for every day wear. I wear mine 24/7, and can’t even feel that they are in. They are sold as singles, which is perfect if you have multiple piercings and like an asymmetrical look.
Gifts to spruce up the home
The Sill ZZ Plant
Because plants make people happy. All the plants and planters from The Sill are super cute and pretty! This ZZ plant is good for plant beginners, because it doesn’t require a lot of sunlight.
The Jungalow Emuna Kaya Face Pot by Justina Blakeney
How cute is this planter? It’s got such positive and happy vibes, and would be sure brighten up any home. You can use it for a potted plant or to display a big bouquet of fresh flowers.
Beautiful handmade ceramics
Handmade ceramics make eating any meal feel special. They’re also perfect props for any aspiring food photographer or blogger on your list! Some of my favorites to shop from are Colleen Hennessey (pictured), Boston Potter, and Noble Plateware.
Gifts for the new puppy owner
Wild One Collar Walk Kit in Spruce
This walk kit is minimal, stylish, and waterproof – perfect for new dog parents! It comes with all the essentials for walks – a collar, leash, and poop bag carrier. I adore it in Spruce, but they have other pretty colors, too. Wild One donates part of every sale to sponsor a rescue pet every week in partnership with Badass Brooklyn Animal Rescue.

Trill Paws Ball is Life ID Tag
I’ve never seen cheekier dog accessories as I’ve seen these Trill Paws tags! There is one for every personality type. Other favorites are the Spicy AF, Pizza My Heart, and Tears.
Gifts for the puzzler
Raise your hand if you got into puzzling during quarantine! It’s a relaxing after-dinner activity that doesn’t involve screen time. Plus, don’t you feel so accomplished when the puzzle is complete? Here are some fun and challenging puzzles for anyone on your list.
Piecework Power Lunch Puzzle
A portion of the proceeds of this puzzle goes to the National Women’s Law Center.
